Fore! This 100,000-gallon water tank is about as Runaway Bay as it gets. Designed to look like a giant golf ball perched on a tee, the tower pays tribute to the community’s roots as a lakeside golf and recreation destination on Lake Bridgeport. Standing about 120 feet tall, it has become a landmark in its own right—and a pretty good reminder that in Runaway Bay, even the water tank has a little personality.
