The South Terrebonne Standpipe welcomes all as they enter the city of Houma by way of Prospect Boulevard. It is a beacon of everything that Houma is: resilient, tough, and enduring. Back in 2021, Hurricane Ida had its way with the city and the tank, specifically the tank's exterior coating system. However, in 2023, the standpipe was given new life in the form of a high-performance coating system sporting a fresh logo. The updates brought life back to a city that, in some degree, is still recovering from the storm and further emphasizing the qualities that make it “HOME-A”.
